Create a project and connect an existing PostHog account

1. Open the Projects section on the left bar.

2. Click New Project to start creating a project you’ll connect to PostHog.

3. Add a name and description to help teammates understand what this project is for.

4. Select Create to generate the new project in your workspace.

5. Choose Integrate now to immediately set up the PostHog connection for this project.

6. Expand the Project row to access its integration setup steps.

7. Select Connect an existing Posthog account to link a PostHog workspace you already have.

8. Click into Personal API Key and paste your PostHog key to authorize the connection.

9. Confirm the Host URL matches your PostHog region or your self-hosted endpoint.

10. Enter your PostHog Project ID so Autoplay knows which project to connect to.

11. Click Connect an existing Posthog account to validate the details and finish linking PostHog.
