- Open our Google Chrome Extension
- Make sure you are signed in. If you get an error when signing in, please press the sign-out button and sign back in
- Make sure you choose the right project for your golden path to be associated with
How to Record a New Golden Path
1. Click Start to begin recording the steps that will define your Golden Path.
2. Start by completing the predefined steps (in this case, analyzing session replays).
3. Each step will define the steps that will be included in the Golden Path (like setting filters).
4. You can add as many steps as you’d like - just keep in mind that the more steps you include, the stricter the Golden Path becomes.
5. Stop the playback once you’ve completed your predefined flow.
6. You can review your recorded flow, and if everything looks good, proceed with setting up your new Golden Path.
7. Enter a clear Golden Path name so you can find this flow again later.
8. Add a brief description to capture what this Golden Path is testing or validating.
9. Once submitted, Autoplay will begin generating it, and you’ll receive an email notification once it’s ready.
