Analyze Golden Path deviations & review selected sessions

1. Open the “selected” Golden Path to start reviewing how sessions deviate from the expected flow.

2. Select Golden Path Steps to review the defined journey you’ll compare sessions against.

3. Scan the step list to understand the exact sequence users are expected to follow.

4. Click “View insights” on “On track” to see what successful sessions did consistently.

5. Close the Deviation Summary panel to return to the main insights overview.

6. Open “View insights” for “Partly deviated” to learn which steps users commonly miss or detour around.

7. Close the side panel when you’re ready to compare other deviation categories.

9. Dismiss the summary panel to regain space for the distribution chart and session list.

10. Filter by Knowledge to segment sessions by user context or expertise level.

11. Open the Hesitation filter to focus on sessions with the most friction.

12. Adjust Hesitation again to quickly compare high- vs low-friction session groups.

13. Use the Email filter to narrow the analysis to specific users’ sessions.

14. Pick an email value to isolate and review one user’s journey patterns.

15. Filter by URL to analyze sessions that reached (or avoided) particular pages.

16. Open Duration to separate quick drop-offs from longer, more complex sessions.

17. Refine the Duration filter to hone in on the time range that matters most.

18. Use the Path filter to focus the chart on specific deviation categories you want to investigate.

19. Open Cohorts to compare Golden Path adherence across different user segments.

20. Select a cohort to instantly re-scope the distribution and session list to that group.

21. Use the Cohorts checklist to switch between segments without losing your other filters.

22. Click the graph to start exploring the session maps.

23. Zoom in on the chart to separate clusters and target individual sessions.

24. Zoom in further for a closer look at tightly grouped session points.

26. Switch to the selection tool so clicks pick sessions instead of changing the view.

27. Use the edit tool when you want to modify what’s highlighted or compared in the visualization.

28. Draw a circle to capture that session's group for deeper replay review.

29. Choose Replace to swap your current selection with the newly highlighted sessions.

30. Keep drawing circles to build a curated set of sessions to review together.

31. Click Add to include the current selection in your Selected Sessions set.

32. Add one more session from the chart to expand the set you’ll replay and compare.

33. Save the selected sessions by adding them to a collection for later analysis.

34. Close the collection modal if you don’t want to save the selection yet.

35. Click “Play All” to replay every selected session back-to-back.

36. Add this replay to a collection to keep it organized with related sessions.

37. Click inside the replay to focus playback and watch the user’s behavior in context.

38. Use Share to generate a link so teammates can review the same session findings.

39. Close the Share dialog to return to the replay without changing visibility settings.

41. Click Play Next to continue reviewing the next session in your sequence.
